We had a ball in Asheville. Wish we could have stayed longer and visited longer with everyone. We got back home about 2:30am on tuesday. We wanted to drive while Joey slept. It's much easier that way!

We'll be headed to Georgia in 2 weeks for our nephew, Brian's wedding, so more pictures to come!

Earl's "new" Old School Chopper

Earl got a "new" ride last night! It's a 1976 Harley Davidson Ironhead Chopper. He's very proud. He hopes to have it ready to bring to Asheville next weekend, but we're not sure about that.

Now his other Harley goes to me! After I take the motorcycle riding course later this summer.

Baby Steps!

Joey took his first steps today!!!!! It was a big surprise. We had a playdate at a friend's house, and Joey was holding onto a big toy, and let go of it and took one step to his chair without holding on to anything! It was just one step, but it was his first without hanging onto something. A little while later he tried it again, but plopped down on his butt before he could do a whole step. I imagine he'll be walking soon! I didnt have my camera ready to take the picture of his first step, imagine that. Sorry! But here are a few from today's play date, Joey is wearing his wet suit because he played in the pool!

The other day Joey fell asleep in his high chair, mid-bite. He was eating blueberry muffins!

On saturday the 12th, I graduated college, finally.

I got a job last week writing for a website online. So i'm officially a paid writer! So I've been keeping busy with that. Earl says I need to work hard to bring home the bacon. He's so determined for me to make money that he gave me a writing notebook to carry with me to keep jotting down new ideas wherever I go. And he is giving me new ideas that he wants me to write about! He's cute.

Well, that's about all right now. Tomorrow we are going back to the beach, so maybe some new pictures will be posted later this week.

Beach Day!

We went to the beach on Friday. Joey had a ball with his friends, Allie and Garrett. He wasn't very interested in the water touching him once he felt how cold it was. But he loved playing with the other kids' beach toys. Guess its time to buy him his own buckets and shovels now!

We are really looking forward to a summer filled with trips to the beach! Joey didn't get sunbured yesterday, but after we got home he did get a little fever and got very clingy. He wanted to be cuddled and held, like he wasn't feeling good, but he didn't want to sleep. Poor little guy. And we were only there a couple hours! Hopefully monday's beach trip will be better! Today, we're off to my graduation! Yay!
