Happy 18 Months Josiah!

Our little Prince Josiah is already a year and half! (going on 5) :-)
We went to our small zoo here in town this past weekend.

One day he lined up his little bath animal toys on his Elmo chair so neatly. It was cute.

After he got out of the bath one night he didnt make it to the diaper table, he fell asleep on his daddy's shoulder. It was the most precious thing!

Joey loved feeding the prairie dog at the zoo.

He jumped in the tub before we got him undressed! He obviously gets his impatience from his mom! LOL

New Stuff and The Aquarium Visit

Earl traded his broken chopper for a Camaro Z28 this weekend. He's pretty excited about it, and about fixing it up. As you can see, Joey approves:

Daddy hands Joey the keys. He knew exactly where to put them.

We also traded our furniture. We sold our couch and loveseat and bought a used sofa and recliner.

The painting on the wall above my sofa was done by my dad! :-)

Joey with his tools and Daddy's tools. Earl's been trying to fix his other motorcycle, because it's been having some problems. Joey was his helper.

Aren't mittens the cruelest invention? Poor guy could barely carry his ball. LOL These mittens don't even have a separate piece for the thumb.

Found Joey fully dressed in the empty bathtub one day. He couldn't wait to play with his bath animals, I guess. He lines them up like that every night during bathtime, too.

We went to the aquarium with our friends, the Yoders. We had a blast. Joey hasn't been since he was 3 months old, before Earl got home from Iraq. He slept that visit, with aunt Darlene and Uncle Mike, and his cousins Wesley Clyde, Collis, Shea, and Justin. This was Earl's first visit. He really enjoyed it.

This is just a quick shot of the waterfall they have at the beginning of the aquarium. It's pretty awesome.

Joey especially loved when he got to walk around and see the tanks on his own (holding Mama or Daddy's hand). It was a crowded day, because it was free admission for the holiday.

This is Earl and Joey beside Michelle and baby Adam, looking at turtles and longnose sharks, whatever they're called. Those big long pointy nosed fish. Anyhow, the kids had a blast!

Joey petted this 'aligator'.

One of my favorite parts is the Sea Otters. They're just awsome and cute and fun to watch.

Joey watching sharks go by at the exhibit made to look like a shipwreck. That tank held over 300,000 gallons of water! Lots of sharks and fish in there!

The Yoders!

In the above picture is a huge turtle (the same one that is in the picture below), not sure if you can see it well.

I loved the Jelly fish too!

Allie and Joey hugging! A moment after I took this picture, Joey saw an opening to escape by taking advantage of the fact that no adult was holding his hand. He took off running as fast as he could, giggling, trying to get away from us and on his own. LOL

That waterfall again.

We all rode in Earl's van (not sure how much longer we'll have it since he has the camaro now).

Baby Adam Allie and Joey watched movies on the 45 min. trip there and back.

Earl and Chris chatted up front and Me and Michelle and Adam sat in the very back.

Don't worry, he didnt ride like this the whole time. This is as we were about to leave. He was konked out on his mommy's lap.

Joey still likes to clean for me ^. That was before his haircut,

This is after. They shut down the kids place we were going to take him to get it cut, so I trimmed it myself last night. He looks better.
He actually said 'cheese' for the picture below. What a cutie!

He does tricks!

Joey loves to stand on his head. One day, he just lifted a leg for no apparent reason. I thought it was so funny, I cheered him on. So he put his foot down and lifted a hand. He is learning balance I guess. I don't know, he's funny. I got a couple shots last night when he did it. He's inside his toy bus.

This is Joey after he spilled the entire bowl of water onto the floor. It was the dog's water. He then proceeded to jump around in it and splash, and use his hands to rub it around the floor.

He was playing with his wagon the other day, and this was all he wanted in there. A little ball and Eeyore. I guess it was because he wanted to leave room for himself. I pulled him around the house, he had a blast, then took it to his room and tried to get it in his bus. I had to help. Once it was in there, he jumped inside and tried to push himself with the handle. He got very frustrated when he couldn't. Then he tried to pull it out of the low-crawl door on the bus, and it got hung up on the bottom, and he ended up dragging the wagon and the entire bus across the room and started screaming when the wagon wouldn't come lose. He was very upset, but as soon as I took the bus off, he was fine again.

This is Earl in Joey's bus, and Joey outside of it. Hmmmm.

When Joey asks for snacks (nack), he lets me know where he wants to eat it. Usually for those little fruity gummy things he runs to his Elmo chair and sits down, and I hand him the package and he eats it there. If it's cookies he usually runs to the coffee table and slaps his hand down and says 'here' (eee). This morning for some reason, he ran to the couch, and crawled up and leaned back against a pillow and waited for me to hand him his juice and his snacks. He's so silly.

This was him copying me after I mopped up that water spill he did.

This is him really getting the hang of his hammer, coming after me to hammer my knee.
On another note, I was about to throw away some of my DVD cases, from the DVDs we got Joey for Christmas and thought I'd check online real quick first to see if someone recycles them. And I found this great website, all you do is pay to ship it to them. They recycle discs, cases and other things. So check them out before you toss that stuff.
Have a great weekend! Earl has a long weekend for the holiday so we plan on taking Joey to the aquarium!
