Joey likes getting all the stuffed animals he can fit in his arms and wrestling with them. He names all their colors, what kind of animal they are, and the sounds they make.
The other day he reached a milestone (in my opinion). He was drawing on the bathtub with his bathtub crayons, and he drew a long squiggly line. When I asked him what it was, he said "snake." He's never named his scribbles before. I think that's impressive! He's learning to use his imagination, and learning to try to draw real things. Or at least learning to see the resemblance between his drawings and real things. I was very impressed! He's growing so fast! I think he's so smart.
Allie is being the dinner entertainment.
We still hear from Earl regularly, and he is doing very well. We miss him like crazy, of course. And we're staying busy to make the time go fast. My work is going good, and Joey is always a handful. But a fun handful (most of the time). Angie will be back from Iraq in July, we have friends coming for visits in June, so we are keeping ourselves distracted with as much fun as we can muster. Earl has been gone 2 months now...about 5 to go.
We love you Earl, hope you're staying safe and missing us as much as we miss you!
