Joey being Joey

Joey is getting great at drawing. Unfortunately, he's practicing on everything he's not supposed to. One day he traced most of the lines of the vinyl tiles in the kitchen (with washable marker, thank goodness) and he's written on the couch, on the phone stand, on the kitchen table, and anywhere else you can imagine. I'm very thankful for the person who invented washable markers. But, the mess he did on the table was in highlighter, so it didn't come off as well.

He got a package in the mail the other day from Aunt Darlene. A big puzzle and a Easter book!

Thanks Aunt Darlene! He loves them!

He loves giving his daddy's motorcycle a bath. He also washes my car for me to get the pollen off. He did learn to spell Mom, Dad and Joey. See the cute video below. I promise I gave him no help in this. He did get a little stuck on "Joey" but he remembered eventually. He really blows me away with how fast a learner he is!

We hope everyone has a wonderful Easter! Sorry we couldn't go to Asheville this weekend, but we did get Angie to come to us for a visit. And next weekend, we have lots of Earl's family coming. They've even offered to help us get the house fixed up and ready to sell. We're putting it on the market at the end of the month!
