Harleys, Harmonicas and Playdough

Joey wanted to play on the old Harley.

Joey riding his own Harley.

Joey was upset and crying seeing Daddy ride off on the motorcycle for a short ride.

Silly boys.

Joey and Earl playing the harmonica.

Joey and Green Daddy (whom we almost lost last week at Marshalls--Thanks soooo much to my friend Christina who retraced our steps and spent hours out looking for Green Daddy (and shopping)--and she was successful!) We have the back up Green Daddy that Earl brought from Iraq, but I felt heartbroken thinking we'd lost the original one.

Helping Daddy unpack.

Climbing up there all by himself.

Playing on the new Harley.

Joey got out the playdough for the first time the other day. I've been hesitant about getting it out, not sure what he'd do with it. But his cousin Brian got it for him, so we wanted to make sure he got to play with it. (Thanks Brian and Hollie!)

Some of our creations: spiders, blobs, there's an ice cream cone there somewhere.

"Cheese!"

Playdough hat.

Having fun with Kori.

Joey and his new Diego jacket. I didn't tell him to pose like Diego, but looks like he is.

Joey is still having a hard time getting back into his normal sleep routine. He won't take naps anymore (unless he conks out in the car). He won't sleep the whole night in his bed, he has to get in ours. Some nights it takes over an hour to get him to go to sleep by himself. I'm not yet ready to give up and lay down with him yet. I'm just so mad that he used to be so easy, and now he's making things difficult. He's super attached to his daddy during the day, but insists on me for boo boos and bed time.

We are enjoying our family, but Earl's only had 2 days off since he got back (yesterday and today). So we are looking forward to his time off in November where we can really just be stress free and relaxing.
